Today Kyle and I went out to lunch at a place in Five Points called the Royal Peasant. We'd both never been, and he always talked about it whenever we drove by, so we decided to give it a whirl for lunch. It was so cute! Well, not cute, but definitely had it's own charm and appeal. RP is a British pub, complete with a "football" game on the telly. I had a royal cheese burger with chips, and Kyle got the fish and chips, which I even had a few bites of. Everyone should be very proud of me, because I am not a fan of seafood.
I'm planning on spending the rest of the day working on homework, baking, and re-organizing my room. There's something so cathartic about seeing the possibilities in furniture arrangements : )
It's too bad the score from yesterday's game doesn't reflect how well our team played. Considering we were .500 going into the game against the nation's #2 school. Considering at the half we were 21-21. I am so proud of our boys. They played a great game, and I hope it gets recognized. Meanwhile, there's a lot of controversy about Auburn's team and all that, and I will admit that I was not entirely thrilled with the behavior of their fans, but I am happy for my friends at Auburn, who must be having a great season. Even if their wins do get revoked, this fall must have been a great one to end your college years on.
Off to work on some homework and my presentation for tomorrow. I've got to find some good Costa Rican recipes to serve everyone. Eh... maybe I'll just make rice-a-roni. Jokes! Have a great day!
